Outliers is a home for those who see Guatemala not just as it is, but as it can be.


We’re a referral-only community of curious, ambitious, and committed people who

are building a future where profit and positive impact go hand in hand.

 

Our members come from three paths, but share one spirit:

Outsiders:

  • Returnees: Guatemalans who have lived abroad for at least three years, returning home with new perspectives, skills, and a drive to create change.
     

  • Foreigners: Foreigners who have chosen Guatemala as their home and are contributing with respect, creativity, and measurable impact.

Insiders:
 

  • Founders: Visionaries who never left Guatemala but are innovating from within, creating jobs, and proving change through their companies or personal projects.
     

Being an Outlier means believing in a Guatemala where financial success and social progress reinforce each other. It’s about building businesses that thrive and communities that rise.

 

Our House Rules

  • Referral Only: Membership grows through trust. Every Outlier is invited or referred by someone who shares our values.
     

  • Solutions Over Complaints: Traffic, politics, or challenges are fair game—only if you bring ideas or actions. We solve; we don’t whine.
     

  • No Gossip, No Drama: Respect is non-negotiable. We celebrate, support, and challenge each other, but never undermine.
     

  • No Ego, No Titles: Leave job titles and self-importance at the door. Curiosity, humility, and generosity matter most.
     

  • Give More Than You Take: Share opportunities, insights, and introductions. The community thrives when everyone contributes.
     

  • Privacy Matters: What’s shared in Outliers stays in Outliers. Trust is our foundation.
     

  • Diverse by Design: We welcome different industries, ideas, and identities. Disagreement is welcome; disrespect is not.
